Coronation Street fans expressed concern that Max Turner could be set for a racism storyline after he was told he couldn't have a place back at Weatherfield High School.

The troubled teen, who was expelled from school and sent to a pupil referral unit after a smear campaign against teacher Daniel Osbourne, was hoping to return to his local school.
