Police have cordoned off a street in Edinburgh after being called to an early morning garage blaze. The alarm was raised at around 2.31am on Friday after a parking structure near a house on Moredun Dykes Road was engulfed in flames.
Three fire crews raced to the scene with a specialist height appliance drafted in to help tackle the blaze. No injuries have been reported however a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire has been launched.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers attended at Moredun Dykes Road in Edinburgh at around 3.35am on Friday, 25 June, 2021 following reports of a fire at a double garage.The Daily Record and Sunday Mail have always been at the forefront when it comes to reporting crime in.
