More than 200 people are expected to march from Dundee's West End into the city centre to protest the climate emergency today.The Tayside COP26 Climate Justice march will set off from Magdalen Green at 12pm and parade its way to City Square for a rally that kicks off at 1pm.
Organisers promise a "samba band" accompanying the march, which will take in Roseangle, Albert Square and Commercial Street before gathering in the square for speeches.
The event has been organised by the Tayside chapter of the COP26 Coalition, a nationwide campaigning collective calling on world leaders at COP26 to take tougher steps to fight climate change.
