The Sunday Times, the singer and actress revealed that she didn't earn a lot in 2021 when she was asked. Quizzed about her earning she replied with what she earned, revealed that she brought in "under £5,000".She elaborated to the publication: "Our industry was decimated.
Thankfully I'd sold a house in Spain, in 2019, so I was blessed that I could sit it out comfortably."It was a big house in Mallorca that I'd bought in 2004 for €690,000."She explained how flogging the villa "broke" her heart, but she did manage to make a profit and sold it for €950,000, adding: "but I had to pay Spanish taxes and English taxes".Claire's money worries are now a thing of the past as she gears up for a new West End role.
With restrictions fully lifted and the musical theatre industry picking up once again, she is excited to be back at it. She will be appearing in West End show Cabaret All Stars and will need to don a catsuit for the role.
Speaking about her role in the show she said: "This show has got a really raunchy feel to it, laced with lots humour."I wear a fabulous catsuit," she gushed before explaining how it feels "liberating" to do so.
