Isolation is a major concern among the more elderly people in our communities. Due to Covid-19, some of those who live alone have gone weeks or even months without seeing loved ones, and might be without anyone else to talk to.
Doreen, 79, from Nottingham, lost her husband of 58 years last November, then 11 months later her daughter died. Doreen suffers with mobility problems, and filling the hours during the day is hard – she often feels isolated and alone.
