Christmas will be cancelled for London, South East and the East of England, with those areas moved into a new Tier 4, it has been reported.Boris Johnson will reportedly tell those living in the capital, south East and East, to "stay at home" this festive season, with non-essential shops expected to shut.Festive bubbles will also only be allowed in Tiers 1-3 on Christmas Day with a "stay local message" and regional travel discouraged, it has been claimed.
The Prime Minister is expected announce the new changes in a press briefing from No.10 at 4pm on December 19.In a tweet ahead of the briefing, Caroline Wheeler, Sunday Times deputy political editor, said: "Christmas cancelled for London, South East and East, as areas moved into new Tier 4.
