Patrick Frater Asia Bureau ChiefChina’s Kuaishou, one of the world’s most popular video sharing and live streaming apps, has filed for a share listing in Hong Kong.The company which is a direct rival to the Bytedance-owned Douyin and TikTok, claims 776 million monthly active users, in a regulatory filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The company also boasted an average daily user base of 301 million in the first six months of this year.The redacted 733-page prospectus does not give precise detail about valuation, how much it expects to raise or the timetable for the listing.
