Chelsea are keeping close watch over contract talks between Barcelona and Marc-Andre ter Stegen with a view to making a transfer swoop.
The Blues are on the lookout for a goalkeeper and have placed Barca's no.1 at the top of their wishlist. While they realise their hopes of signing the German are far-fetched, Chelsea have already started their attempts to try and lure him to Stamford Bridge.
The club's technical and performance advisor, Petr Cech, is already said to be involved in discussions with ter Stegen's representatives, according to ESPN.
