Chelsea are no closer to finalising a deal for Kai Havertz and will not secure a cut price deal according to Bayer Leverkusen chief Rudi Voller.
The young forward has asked to leave the German club this summer with the Blues seen as his likeliest destination. Havertz scored XX times for Leverkusen last term which has attracted admiring glances from around Europe.
Chelsea have already added Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech this summer but Voller maintains that there is no update on Havertz's future.
He told when asked about the current situation: “There is nothing new in this regard, and we are still very relaxed about it. “Of course, we would be very happy if he stayed for another year.
