Kai Havertz to Chelsea transfer almost done with just 'final valuation gap to be bridged'

The Blues have made the Bayer Leverkusen winger their priority following the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner earlier on in the transfer window.Chelsea and the German side have so far been apart in their valuations of the the 21-year-old with Leverkusen hoping for around £90m.The Blues made an initial offer of £72m including add-ons but that was not to Leverkusen’s liking.
But according to The Guardian, a productive meeting between both clubs on Wednesday saw Chelsea up their offer and they are confident an agreement will now be reached.
