Chelsea may need to sign three more midfielders after securing Kai Havertz, with manager Frank Lampard eyeing a major clear-out this summer.
The Blues have forked out £83.7m already this transfer window, bringing in striker Timo Werner from RB Leipzig and playmaker Hakim Ziyech from Ajax.They have been heavily linked with Bayer Leverkusen star Havertz and will need to spend upwards of £70m to prise him away from the Bundesliga.In order to fund their deals, Chelsea have banked £50.4m after Alvaro Morata's move to Atletico Madrid became permanent and £13.5m from Mario Pasalic's sale to Serie A side Atalanta.Other names could join them on the way out of the club, including three midfielders.
