West Ham could use the sale of Declan Rice to sign his direct replacement. The England midfielder has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Chelsea in recent months given his fine Premier League form under David Moyes.
Despite his efforts, the Hammers remain in danger of relegation with nine matches still to play, which could force Rice to request a move when the transfer window reopens.
If that is to be the case, former Ipswich, Leeds and Hull City defender Alex Bruce thinks they should try and bring Tiemoue Bakayoko to the London Stadium.
The 25-year-old has failed to impress since his £40m from Monaco and has subsequently been sent out on loan to both Milan and more recently his former side in Ligue 1.
