Premier League is at champions Manchester City and their arch-rivals Manchester United have one of the most expensive. A survey has taken data from across the 20 teams and found the two Manchester clubs are some distance apart when it comes to the price of a tipple.

Citizen fans at the Etihad Stadium pay £3.40 for a pint of lager to enjoy when taking a break from watching Pep Guardiola's scintillating side, while just over six miles to the west, supporters have had to fork out £5.10 for a beer at Old Trafford, where United limped to a sixth place finish last term. But the most expensive pint was found at the Amex Stadium, with Brighton charging £6 for a pint, as can be seen in the list below.

The average cost for the coming season is £4.09, according to the casino website Top10Casinos. "Not only do City fans see some of the best football, their pint is cheaper too," they said. "United and Brighton fans must be wondering where it all went wrong."READ MORE: World Cup of Pundits: Vote for ultimate footy expert as Roy Keane aims to defend titleIt's not been the best build-up to the season for United - despite a 4-0 friendly win over Liverpool - with the Red Devils' determined move for Frenkie de Jong taking longer and longer.
