And their robustness at the back has been instilled by retired centre-back Hoefkens who plied his trade in England for a number of years before stepping into management.He spent two years in the Championship with Stoke City in 2005 and 2007 where he racked up 94 appearances and quickly built a bond with the club's fans who named him their player of the year in his first season.
