Celine Dion has released a statement in response to the ruling that she owes commissions to ICM Partners and partner Rob Prinz for her concert deal with AEG.
The California Labor Commission has ruled that Celine must pay commissions on the deal, which was reached in 2017 at a value of $500 million.
ICM Partners, her former agency, negotiated the deal and they sued her in 2019 for unpaid commissions. Deadline reports that the “ruling states that ICM Partners is due 1.5% of the gross compensation earned or received from all Las Vegas residency performances, 3% of all touring performances and 1.5% from performances in her home province of Quebec.” Celine and her attorney have both spoken out with statements, with her lawyer committing to
