msn.comMasterChef UK's first ever blind contestant Amar Latif has proven himself to be an immediate hit with fans, but the Celebrity MasterChef star originally turned down the BBC series.After impressing viewers with his debut in yesterday's (July 15) episode, Amar has revealed that he had no interest in taking part on the show when he was first approached by bosses.
Admitting that he was initially asked to be a contestant last year, Amar told RadioTimes.com: "Last year they had said to my agent, 'Would Amar like to go on MasterChef?'"I was with my friend at the time and my friend was like, 'That's not for you!' and I agreed, because I couldn't even cook.
