From today (Monday) pub beer gardens, non-essential shops, hairdressers, barbers, salons and gyms were finally allowed to open after months of being shutdown.
This is the latest milestone in the country's route out of lockdown with the next major changes not due until May 17 when people will be allowed to drink and dine indoors at pubs and restaurants.
And people have been making the most of the changes, heading to the high-street, shopping centres and their local boozer for some much needed time out the house.
