Luis Suarez has told his former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi to end his career at the Camp Nou, as discussions over a new contract continue.
The Uruguayan was allowed to leave the Catalan giants at the start of this season, joining Atletico Madrid. That move has worked to perfection, with Suarez on 19 goals and Atleti leading La Liga with a matter of weeks remaining.
Reports suggesting Messi could do the same this summer have been rife, with the goal-scoring legend set to become a free agent at the end of the current campaign.
Messi has been linked with a number of clubs across the world, including Manchester City, who are looking to replace their own record scorer Sergio Aguero.
