When other figures confirmed the rises this week, senior figures declared the good times were back. "It’s official - for now, the surge in property prices is a boom and not a blip," said Jonathan Hopper, chief executive of Garrington Property Finders.
But one of the most experienced estate agents in Britain doesn't see it that way. In fact, rather than celebrating as rising prices boost commissions, he's issued a stark warning instead.
