Liverpool legend John Barnes has claimed his former club do not need to make any more signings this summer. Defender Ibrahima Konate has already been signed from RB Leipzig for £36m, while Liverpool have been linked with several midfielders as potential replacements for Georginio Wijnaldum.However, Barnes believes that Liverpool "don’t need to make signings or to promote from within", unless they are hit by another injury crisis.
