Boxing legend Carl Froch has gone viral after mentioning that he fought in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium - something that appears to be a running joke.
Froch, 44, featured on BBC Breakfast on Saturday ahead of the heavyweight bout between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte. The former fighter was speaking via video link from Wembley, where the event is set to be held.
There he was asked why the bout was such a 'big moment' for the sport.Froch then, with a smile, knowingly brought up the time he fought George Groves in front of 80,000 at England’s largest stadium, a line he’s become famous for.Froch said: "Absolutely, this is a massive moment – and what an occasion.
