A care worker raped an "extremely vulnerable" patient at a home providing treatment for people with mental disorders. Aymen Babiker was working as an agency support worker in 2018 when he led the woman into a laundry room and forced her against a counter before raping her.
The 37-year-old kept his hand over her mouth to "stifle her screams" during the horrific attack, Newport Crown Court heard. Babiker also engaged in sex acts with another resident who had a learning disability after grooming her at the South Wales facility.
He was found guilty of rape and three counts of engaging in sexual activity with a person with a mental disorder and jailed for 13 years.
