A care home hailed as ‘Stockport’s NHS Nightingale’ during the early months of the pandemic has been ordered to improve by the health watchdog.
Bramhall Manor exclusively provides short-term care for people who have been discharged from hospital but are not yet ready to return home.
After opening its doors last year, the 71-bed facility played a crucial role in freeing up hospital beds for Covid patients - earning high praise from health and council chiefs.
