Car stolen and torched in Dundee as police launch investigation

Police in Dundee have launched an investigation after a car was stolen and then torched. The vehicle was taken from outside a property on Hebrides Drive late last Wednesday night.

The white Hyundai 110 was found burnt out a short time later in Ballochmyle Drive. Police have now asked for witnesses to come forward and also urged anyone with dash cam footage to get in touch.A spokesman said: “We are currently investigating the theft of a car from outside an address in Hebrides Drive, Dundee, which took place between 8:30pm Wednesday 15th – 3am Thursday 16th December.“The white Hyundai 110, reg ST15ZWP, was found shortly after 3am in Ballochmyle Drive, severely damaged after having been set on fire.“If you have any information that could
