Boy, 11, left 'gutted' after Christmas presents stolen from McDonald's

A mum has been left furious after her 11-year-old son's Christmas presents were stolen from a McDonald's store. Nicola Sharif, who moved to Galway in August, was over in Middlesbrough visiting family for the holidays with her two children.

Before travelling back home to Ireland, the 34-year-old took son Kamran into the city centre to spend some of his Christmas money in the Boxing Day sales.

Speaking to Teesside Live, she said: "He had some money that he'd gotten for Christmas and wanted to spend it so I took him to town and we went to Game. "He bought a microphone, an adaptor for his Xbox controller and a laptop mouse.
