A young man has died after he was found injured in a Scots car park.Police have launched a probe after the incident happened in Greenock at around 3.50pm on Sunday, January 2.

The 22-year-old was discovered badly hurt at a car park off Ann Street in the town.Emergency services raced to the scene and the man was rushed to Inverclyde Royal Hospital for treatment.Tragically, he died a short time later.

His next of kin are aware.Police say their enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
