Captain Sir Tom Moore has signed a film deal to depict the events of his 100-year-long life. Second World War veteran Captain Tom won the nation's hearts when he raised nearly £33 million for the NHS over lockdown by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday.
He had set out to make £1000 before his efforts went viral and the money flooded in. The upcoming flick - which will reportedly make Captain Tom seven figures - has even managed to bag highly regarded director Nick Moorcroft, whose credits include Fisherman's Friends and Finding Your Feet.
