Captain Sir Tom Moore has signed a '7 figure' deal for a film that will tell his life story. The inspirational Second World War veteran raised nearly £39 million for the NHS over lockdown by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday.Now it has been announced a film about his life will be made by Fred Films and Powder Keg Pictures, with a Christmas 2021 release date.And Captain Tom has told how he would like Brit film legends Sir Michael Caine, 88, or Sir Anthony Hopkins, aged 82, to play him on the big screen.Captain Tom said: "I don't know of any 100-year-old actors, but I'm sure Michael Caine or Anthony Hopkins could do a wonderful job if they were prepared to age up."Writer-producers Nick Moorcroft and Megan Leonard have.
