It says the project will become a sustainable garden village 'of beauty and great design' - with 2,350 homes, two village centres with shops and facilities for health and the community, plus 'generous proportions' of open space.But the council will have a fight on its hands to push the scheme through - with hundreds of residents ready to make their voices heard in opposition.Before the pandemic, Claire Elliott would spend almost every day at Godley Green, where she works at the Godley.
