Dalglish knows the script as he got the role after legendary leader Billy McNeill hung up the boots but he’s convinced McGregor has shown he’s made for the job.The current captain has steered Celts to three trophies out of the last four and could end up with the clean sweep this season.
And Dalglish reckons you could argue McGregor has had a tougher task as his predecessor had a chunk of time in charge when rivals Rangers were out of the picture.
