Sir Kenny Dalglish weighed into the debate that is raging over VAR following a weekend of controversy and insists it should step in to catch the chancers looking to con referees.
The Celtic and Liverpool legend is on board with video technology but he’s hoping the backup can be used to rid the game of the con men.

Dalglish admitted playacting is one of his major bugbears and he’d love to see video evidence come in to deal with the culprits.
