Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they want to talk to after a bus driver was punched and grabbed in a 'needless' attack.
The attack happened on a bus which had stopped on Oldham Road, in Manchester city centre, at around 3.30pm on Friday, August 20.
The driver was helping a passenger to look for their phone when he was confronted by a man, police said. The man 'became engaged in an altercation with the driver' before launching the shocking attack on him.
