BROOKLYN Nine-Nine's boss has scrapped new season eight episodes in the wake of George Floyd's death, Terry Crews has revealed.
The NBC comedy's seventh season about a bungling police force came to an end in April, and boss Dan Goor had already started working on season eight.
But in the wake of George Floyd's tragic death at the hands of a policeman, plus the issues of police brutality and Black Lives Matter being at the forefront of the news agenda, Dan has decided to scrap what he had written so far.
Actor Terry, who plays Terry Jeffords on the show, revealed to Access Hollywood: "[Dan] had four [new] episodes all ready to go and they just threw them in the trash. "We have to start over.
