Russian troops in Ukraine are facing the death penalty, as officials issue an update. Shaun Pinner, 48, and Andrew Hill, 35, could be sentenced to capital punishment after they were captured in Ukraine.The Prosecutor General's Office of the Donetsk People's Republic confirmed their names alongside Moroccan citizen Sadun Brahim.

They were all held by Putin's soldiers following clashes in the Donbas region, which Russia has claimed as its own. Spokesperson for The Prosecutor General's Office Viktor Gavrilov, told Interfax.Ru: "The Prosecutor General's Office of the DPR has completed the investigation of a criminal case against a group of foreign mercenaries from Great Britain and Morocco."Taking into account wartime, the defendants may be subject to capital punishment - the death penalty."Brit Aiden Aslin, 28, is also facing death after he was captured and forced to speak in a chilling propaganda video.
