The star is claimed to have been frustrated at the "oppressive and controlling tool" and spoke out as early as 2016 to against dad Jamie and her conservatorship's strict guidelines.
The revelation comes a day before the singer, 39, is set to speak remotely at her hearing in her battle against her conservatorship.
The New York Times reports that it has viewed confidential documents that seemingly expressed Britney's serious opposition to the conservatorship earlier and more often than had previously been known.
