Musician Pa Salieu says he is ‘engaging with police’ as they continue to investigate the death of his friend Fidel Glasgow. The rapper, who was nominated for the Rising Star accolade at this year’s Brit Awards, released a statement on Thursday amid reports that police investigating the incident had made arrests.

Glasgow, the grandson of Specials singer Neville Staple, died in hospital after being stabbed outside Coventry’s Club M during a mass brawl in 2018, with a 23-year-old man also suffering stab wounds.In his statement shared on social media, Mr Salieu – real name Pa Gaye – said: ‘Due to ongoing investigations, I am unable to comment on the detail surrounding the fateful events that occurred back in September 2018. ‘Sadly, my close.
