Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly delighted with the £50million they received for Ben White ahead of his move to Arsenal.The defender is set to join the Gunners on a five-year-deal after completing a two-day physical assessment at their London Colney training ground.Arsenal had pursued the England defender, who was called up to Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad, since the start of the summer but were met with resistance by Brighton over a transfer fee.The Seagulls eventually agreed to a hefty sum for the player along with a sell-on clause which could see them earn an additional £20million.The North Londoners initially bid £40million prior to Euro 2020 which was rejected, before their follow-up offer of £47million was also turned.
