A brave condition has a brain condition so rare it's believed only four other girls in the world have it. Pelizaeus Merzbacher Disease is a degenerative neurological disease that more commonly affects boys.

Mum Rachel Fincham realised something was wrong from the start of daughter Sadie Chittock's life, when she struggled feeding and only gained a little weight before quickly losing it.

Rachel, 23, described a worrying moment Sadie seemed to go "floppy" and couldn't hold her head. After months and months of back-and-forth trips to the hospital for tests and scans,  Sadie was diagnosed with PMD, Essex Live reports.
