More than 100 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a row of thatched cottages in Hampshire. The fire began in the roof of two cottages in Bransbury and has spread to a third.
The chimneys of two of the cottages, which form part of a row of four, have collapsed. Dramatic photos show a huge cloud of thick white smoke rising above the cottages.
Multiple fire engines and firefighters can also be seen at the scene. A spokeswoman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service told the Mirror: "116 firefighters are on the scene. "We were called at 16.17 this afternoon to The Barracks, Bransbury. "Hampshire Police and the ambulance are also on the scene. "The Red Cross have been requested to provide support for occupants."
