A 'jealous and possessive' boyfriend unleashed a vicious attack on a man he wrongly accused of flirting with his girlfriend at a house party in Rochdale.
Thomas Nelson, 21, from Rochdale was drunk and high on cannabis and cocaine when he followed Aaron Butler outside the party and battered him with a plank of wood after knocking him unconscious.
Nelson, of of Shephard Court, Milnrow Road, became enraged at Mr Butler for trying to dance with his girlfriend Chloe Calderbank, a court heard.
