Boris Johnson has jetted off to a holiday in Marbella, leaving behind an energy crisis, an ongoing fuel crisis HGV driver shortage which has threatened supply chains and cruel benefit cuts.
The Prime Minister left the UK on Friday and is reportedly staying in a luxury villa on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain until Thursday.
Whether Johnson’s pregnant wife Carrie and 17-month-old son Wilf were at the holiday resort was unclear. Downing Street did not deny the Prime Minister had travelled to Spain, and declined to say whether he was working at Number 10 or in Chequers, the country retreat.
