The European Championships are due to begin on June 11 and the Three Lions have three group stage games planned on June 13, 18 and 27.
But, the council says it will be temporarily stopping anyone from being served outdoors in public places for two hours before and two hours after each game, including extra time.
The same rules will also apply for any subsequent knockout games - if England qualify - and will include penalties. Nelson Square, in Bolton town centre, will be temporarily closed to traffic from today (May 28) to allow more people to visit
