discovered following a full scale search operation of Loch Caitiosbhal, near Marvig, on the Isle of Lewis today, August 16. Emergency services were called at 11.15am after the man got into difficulty and disappeared.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 11.15am on Sunday, 16 August, we received reports that a man had gotten into difficulty while swimming in Loch Caitiosbhal near Marvig on the Isle of Lewis. “Emergency services attended and a search and rescue operation was launched.“The body of a 30-year-old man was recovered a short time later.
