Tory councillor Paul Nickerson was planning a week away with his family of five in St Ives when he got a nasty shock.As he searched for suitable homes he was horrified to find the average cost for seven days was £71,627.The East Riding councillor condemned the UK holiday home industry which he said is exploiting the narrow choices for holidaying this year, reports Hull Live."Everything I have seen is about 50 per cent more than their normal price.
