McDonald's worker has been left fighting for his life after a crazed customer allegedly shot him after his mum was handed cold fries.

Matthew Webb, 23, was confronted by the 40-year-old woman at the branch on Fulton Street, Brooklyn, New York, before she alerted her son shortly after 7 pm on Monday (August 1).Police sources said the woman contacted Michael Morgan, 20, during the dispute, who then stormed into the restaurant and started a fight. The son and the clerk got into a dispute inside, and it went outside."Cops said Morgan opened fire and shot the young employee in his neck.

He was reportedly transported to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition.According to eyewitnesses, Webb was unable to speak and was breathing heavily while he was shaking as he was put on the stretcher, reports Metro.
