Black family 'held at gun point' by police who wrongly thought they'd stolen car

Like the weather, the Daily Star's FREE newsletter is a scorcherA black family including kids as young as six have been left traumatised after a group of police held at them at gun point believing they were driving a stolen car.Video footage has emerged showing officers handcuffing and detaining the innocent family – after they allegedly pointed their weapons at them.It is understood the police officers involved thought the family’s car had been stolen.The footage, shared on Twitter, shows a driver and multiple children laying on the ground with their hands behind their backs as officers escort them into police vehicles.Various members of the family, some of whom were reportedly aged between 6 and 17 can be heard screaming.
