Elon Musk has reportedly lost a whopping $50 billion (£37bn) after shares of his company plummeted in just two days this week.
The SpaceX CEO saw his fortune plunge after he asked his millions of followers whether he should sell 10% of his shares in Tesla on November 6.In a Twitter poll, he said: "Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock.
Do you support this?"The popular poll saw 57.9% of people say that he should sell the percentage of his stake, while 42.1% urged him to keep his stock.In a follow-up tweet, the entrepreneur vowed to "abide by" the results "whichever way it goes".He added: "Note, I do not take a cash salary or bonus from anywhere.
