Billboard to Observe 'Blackout Tuesday' in Solidarity

Billboard will be taking part in #TheShowMustBePaused, or "Blackout Tuesday," in solidarity with the nationwide protests demanding justice.

This movement, created by music industry executives Jamila Thomas and Brianna Agyemang in response to the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless other Black citizens at the hands of police, urges that we not conduct business and instead use this time to reflect and learn.

The blackout, scheduled for Tuesday (June 2), "is meant to intentionally disrupt the work week," according to initiative's website. "Monday suggests a long weekend, and we can't wait until Friday for change.
