He was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the US, after a police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.One mural, in Dundee’s Hilltown area, has been defaced with white supremacist symbols only a few days after it was finished.Symon Matheson painted the piece on Friday.He said: “It’s my way of paying a bit of respect to him.“It’s not about me, it’s about the movement.
If you can do something, you should.”But only three days later the piece was daubed with racist symbols.The vandals responsible painted.
