Mihaela Buzarnescu had to borrow a bra from her coach after falling foul of Wimbledon's strict dress-code. The Romanian ace found herself in hot water with the tournament's rule-makers before her first round match against Germany's Nastasja Mariana Schunk last week.

Buzarnescu, ranked 127th in the world, turned up to Court 2 wearing a black bra.In the 21st century, you might think that such attire would not cause a problem.

But SW19's archaic dress-code details that all competitors - male or female - "must be dressed in suitable tennis attire that is almost entirely white."
